Ever wonder about the unseen talents lurking in the wrestling world? A recent report from Fightful Select has brought to light an intriguing situation: AEW signed female indie wrestler Tatevik last fall, yet she's remained largely absent from their TV programming. This begs the question: What's the hold-up?
Tatevik, a seasoned pro since 2013, has a unique journey. According to Cagematch, she's competed in just 20 matches. After her debut year, she took an 11-year hiatus from the ring, adding an element of mystery to her story.
Fightful's report indicates AEW signed her in the fall of 2025, but her in-ring appearances for the promotion have been limited. She has one AEW match on record, a loss to Harley Cameron on a March 2025 episode of Collision.
Her experience extends beyond AEW. Tatevik has primarily been active in OVW, Athena's MPX promotion, and a NJPW Academy show last October. She's also done extra work for WWE and boasts a diverse background, including theater, stunt work, and kickboxing training. Adding to her impressive resume, she's trained at Natalya and TJ Wilson's Dungeon training academy.
But here's where it gets controversial... Despite the signing and her extensive background, Tatevik hasn't publicly discussed her AEW deal. She was spotted backstage at last November's Blood & Guts event in Greensboro, North Carolina, posing with Ricky Steamboat. She also shared a picture with Kevin Von Erich at July’s All In: Texas.
